Unique Embossed Metal H&A Quality Rope Store Display

Unique all meta storel inventory display advertising "H&A Cordage Quality Rope", "Moisture Resistant For Marine, Home and Farm Use". Display prominently displays the H&A Logo and manufactured by The Hooven & Allison Co. Xenia, Ohio. I'm unsure of the age, but if I had to guess, I would say 1950's-60's, but that's just a guess. Founded in 1869 in relative obscurity, within a few short years the Hooven Allison name became an established leader in the Cordage Industry. Today, Hooven Allison is the oldest independently owned cordage manufacturer in the United States. The display is in excellent shape overall. The metal advertising sign on top is heavily embossed and colors are very bold. It has rub marks and a few scratches, con...

Glory Cocoanut Oil Soap Country Store Display Jar

Unique flip-lid glass soap jar advertising "GLORY COCOANUT OIL SOAP". Advertising is painted stencil and the lid is metal flip style with no handle. Jar measures approximately 10" round with the lid measuring 5.5". Condition is 100% original and very good - near excellent overall. The painted advertising is mostly intact, with only some dirt and discoloring. I didn't want to clean this as I don't want to remove any paint. Some reside and staining on the glass, but absolutely no cracks or damage anywhere. Even the lid is in good shape with no dents or dings - which is rare for these thin metal lids. There is some rust residue around the lid, but overall, this is nice piece in beautiful original condition. ...

Set of 8 Panay Show Jars with Metal Display Rack

Stunning set of 8 original "Panay Horizonal Show Jars" with original metal display rack. These jars were often used for peanuts, candy, and other dry goods at retail stores. Many people refer to these as "glass mailboxes" because of there shape and put tab lid. They were used individually on counter tops or in sets like this one for a wider variety of foods and candies. Each jar was manufactured by the "Panay Horizontal Show Jar Co. Milwaukee, Wis." Display is metal and fits each jar perfectly. Holes are on the base of each leg to allow for floor mounting. The age of these jars range from the early 1910's to the 1930's. The condition of the jars range from good to very good. 7 of the 8 function as they should - lids open and shut fine. On...

Nice counter display used for advertising General brand flashlite cells. Display is all metal with bright graphics on all sides and lid witch closes forward and covers the opening. A holder for the battery on top of the lid, along with a unique light tester on the side that actually still works! Just place a "D" size battery in the connector and if there's juice, the bulb lights up. Likely some type of an insert or base was inside to hold the stock inventory. What is here is just the metal frame display. No manufacturer's mark, just "MADE IN U.S.A." on back. Measures 8.75" (W) X 11.5" (H) X 7.5" (D). Late 1800's - Early 1900' Child Mannequin Display with Cast Iron Shoes

Very unique country store mannequin display (small boy size) with cast iron shoes. This is a very early display, circa late 1890's to early 1900's. There's a leather bow tie on it, which I'm sure is not original, but since these had a variety of different clothing, I've seen similar displays with a wide variety of child's clothing. Manufacturer unknown, mannequin measures 51" (H) X 14" (W) X 9.5" (D). Condition is fair - good. There are rips and tears in the nylon like material and some fading and discoloring in the shape of clothes. There are some tears on the neck collar where a label may have been with the manufacturer but that is just a best guess. The tears and holes are clearly seen in the pictures, as the material is nylon panty...
