Giant Sloan's Liniment Advertising Bottle Store Display

You've never seen a display bottle like this! Amazing large Sloan's Liniment store display bottle. "The Great Home Remedy" and "Dr. Parker's Sure Kidney Pills .25 cents". Bottle measures a stunning 20 1/2 inches in height and 8 1/2 inches in width and was used by a store as a display for various remedies. On the bottom of the label would be where the store name and stamp would be placed. The condition is excellent - the label is faded, but for it's age displays wonderfully. Very minimal peeling and tears are confined to edges and corners and are very minor. The inside of the label, which is an advertisement, can be read through the reverse of the bottle, and is amazingly detailed. No chips or cracks - very nice condition! I've never seen on...

19.5" Owl Drug Company Poison Bottle Store Display

Impressive large scale stoneware poison bottle advertising the Owl Drug Company with trademark logo. The bottle is three sided, with the owl logo on one, "POISON" on the other side, and "The Owl Drug Co." on the other. All of the advertising was painted black, which I believe to be original to the piece for contrast and relief. The "POISON" and logo are embossed, while "The Owl Drug Co." is carved into the stoneware. Bottle measures 19.5" (H) X 8" (W). Condition is very good considering this a soft stoneware material. There is crazing throughout - consistent with age. There are obvious rub marks in the glaze all around where the glaze has flaked. Few nicks and abrasions throughout but it's very safe to say that there are no l...

Early 1900's F. A. Hardy & Co. Ophthalmometer - Optical Examination Device

Very unique early 1900's ophthalmometer manufactured by the F.A. Hardy & Company. This is an optical optometrist device to measure the curvature of the anterior surface of the cornea, the chief refracting surface of the human eye. Consists of cast iron and brass components with knobs that adjust various parts and apparatuses on the machine. Very sophisticated for being around 100 years old. Condition is very good. The device appears completed, but admittedly I know very little about this device so I can't say for sure it it's missing something or not. The v...
