Antique Whitings 1 cent Coin Op Sculptoscope Stereo Viewer w/ Key

You are looking at a very unique vintage 1 cent Whitings Sculptoscope coin operated stereo viewer with slides and key. The unit comes with over 50 viewing cards already installed and a working key. The metal coin slot says "MADE BY AMERICAN NOVELTY CO - CINCINNATI, OH - U.S PATENTS JULY 12 DEC, 20 1910 - OTHER PATENTS PENDING". The stereo viewer is approximately 15 inches high x 7.5 inches wide and 12 inches in depth and weighs approximately 15lbs. This vending unit is in great shape with paint loss on the front and top (red color - which is metal). The sides are painted black wood and in very good shape but have some paint loss and some scuffs throughout viewer. Very neat scroll work design on the front door with a oval design frosted glass. No damage or major holes or den...

Original 1 cent Challenger Coin Op Target Shooting Game with Key

Original Challenger 1 cent counter top pistol shooting Game By A.B.T. MFG Co. Chicago, U.S.A. You shoot small steel balls at the target. If you hit a target, it a ball drops in the marque. Fully working with lock and key. Shooting game measures 29" (L) X 16" (H) X 11" (W). Condition is very good overall with no repairs or restoration. Gun works and shoots as it should - areas of pitting and rust spots on the gun but very minimal overall. Sides have original graphics and are mostly intact and bright. Slight scratching and rubbing with a few small areas of paint loss through but overall very nice. Paint loss and pitting top marquee. Original glass intact with no breaks or cracks. Game will clean up nicely - overall I would rate the condition at a 7. This is a ve...

Vintage British Wrigleys Spearmint Gum Coin Op Dispenser

Unique British 6d Coin Op Wrigley's Spearmint gum dispenser. Manufacturer is unknown and not marked. Coin mechanism and insides appear to be complete, however due to foreign currency, I have not been able to test the unit. No key is included. Dispenser measures 28" (H) X 8 3/4" (W) X 4 1/4" (D). Condition is rough - fair overall. I purchased the dispenser for the vintage nostalgic look as the advertising is very unique and desirable despite the overall condition. Dispenser is all original and the advertising is mostly intact. As seen in the pictures, there are considerable scratches, rub marks, and paint loss throughout the dispenser. There is extensive bending and denting at the base of the unit - however not readily seen and likely easily fixed upon restor...

Unique Race Track Patron Binocular in Coin Op Case

Here's a very unique 25 cent coin op case that holds a set of small consumer binoculars. From my research, I would think this would have been from a race track of some type. This would have been mounted and a quarter opens the top where binoculars were strapped to the case for patron use. The key opens a small coin catch department at the bottom. Holding mechanism measures 6"(H) X 6" (D) X 2.5" (W). Overall the condition is good. I believe this was restored (repainted) and the stickers are obvious very recent. Not sure what color it was originally as I have not been able to find much information on this. The case is metal and in good shape with several holes (some are for mounting) and others I"m not sure were for what - but they all appear to factory. T...

Amazing 2 piece Turnbull's Ice Cream Cone Dispenser - Turnbull Cone and Machine Co.

This is a very rare Turnbull's Ice Cream Cone Dispenser. When the two levers on the base are pressed the holder allows a cone to drop. This is a non-coin op unit, but functions mechanically the same way. The base is a heavy iron with a porcelain paint finish, and the top is a painted metal finish with the glass windows on the front and back for viewing the stacked cones. I've found very little information on this item, but I believe it dates from 1900's-1930's. There's a brass plate on the front that says "Manufactured by Turnbull Cone & Machine Co., Chattanooga, Tennessee. Serial No. C113 Patents Pending." This machine measures 38 1/2" (H) X 10 1/2" (W) X 8 1/4" (D). Based on research, I believe this also was a cone warmer, i...

Unusual Mackintosh's Toffee Penny Coin Op Machine

Here's an early 1 penny (1D) coin operated Mackintosh's Toffee dispenser. Machine indicates at base that it was at one time serviced and likely manufactured by Direct Automatic Sales Ltd., 22 Barrett Street, London. Machine has two pull tabs that would dispense the toffee once the currency was inserted. Interestingly there is what I believe is a separate lock box at the base below the dispensing unit. A separate lock on the top would be opened to stock the product. Dispenser measures 9" (W) X 36" (H) X 5.25" (D). Condition is fair to good overall. What you see in the pictures is the original finish. The dark red is mostly intact with discoloring, staining and expected rub marks paint loss. No large holes other than mounting holes on back. Excess paint o...

RARE Art Deco Shyvers Multiphone Coin Op Vending Jukebox Early Serial No 58

This is an exceptionally rare Art Deco 10 cent coin op Shyvers Multiphone jukebox selector in what appears to be cast aluminum resembling the Empire State Building used from the 1930's1950's. This unit has an exceptionally rare low serial number of 58 making it one of the earliest examples anywhere. Other ones I found online were in the hundreds or over a thousand. This serial number is in 3 places - on the top next to the coin op, at the bottom of the folding top and on the inside rim of the center section that separates the coin tray and wires. This Multiphone measures 16" (H) X 6 1/2" (W) X 6 1/2" (D). From online research, the 1935 Shyvers Multiphone was invented by Ken Shyver, who is also credited for inventing the pinball machine. The Multiphone was a...
