Unique Lubri-Gas Motor Fuel Metal Sign with Camel Graphics
Here is a very unique and hard to find Lubri-Gas sign with a fantastic image of a camel advertising "The Correct Motor Fuel". Sign measures 27.5" X 19". The overall condition of this metal petroliana sign is fair - near good. I say this because the advertising itself is some part of a screening or sticker affixed to a thin metal backing. I'm under the impression that this is how they were all made as I know this sign is original and quite old. As seen in the pictures, there is extensive peeling on the left side over the writing "Protects thee Motor" and more in the middle of the sign over "The Correct Motor Fuel" and slightly above in the "Your" in "As it Powers Your Motor". This is a fantastic 2 piece vintage porcelain sign advertising Sherwinn Williams Cover the Earth Sign featuring a paint can and earth that is panoramic (3D) that is bolted to a porcelain yellow background piece. Sign measures 48" X 36". The condition overall is very good. The yellow background was repainted when acquired as there was extensive staining. It retains the original porcelain finish and is just a plain background as it was prior. The paint can and earth are a one piece porcelain panoramic sign that is bolted to this yellow background. Embossed Metal Blue Beacon Coal Sign
Very rare heavily embossed metal Blue Beacon Coal sign with lighthouse graphic. Sign measures 19 1/2" (H) X 9 1/4" (W) and is signed "Donaldson Art Sign Co. Cov. KY". Condition overall is very good. Amazing graphics and bright colors overall. Small surface rust areas confined mostly to the edges (all around sign). Bottom and top left corners have more prominent paint loss, but still minimal. Shallow surface scratches throughout with bending at the corners (consistent with hanging the sign.) Has 6 mounting holes with slight bending at the lower 1/3 of sign - but still displays flat. Heart of the sign is very nice and very clean. Overall I would rate the condition at a 7 - 7.5. Truly a wonderful sign with nice and relatively rare graphics....

Porcelain Portland Cement Sign with Swastika
This is a heavy metal sign with thick porcelain enamel advertising Portland Cement with Swastika image. I've seen quite a few Portland Cement signs but no others with the Swastika emblem on it. I would estimate this sign to be from the 40's however cannot confirm. Sign measures approximately 12" X 16". Condition is fair - good - with the heart of the sign very clean. Edges has paint chipping and rust as clearly seen in the pictures. One corner is bent and another is rubbed off slightly otherwise the original holes are intact. No additional holes or severe areas of damage other than what's clearly seen in the pictures. Truly unique double sided, hand painted, die-cut jewelry and watch repair trade sign in the shape of a large pocket watch. Sign advertises "Max Lipson" and "Watches - Clocks" and "Jewelry Repairing". This sign measures and impressive 35 1/4 "(H) X 34" (W) at it's largest dimensions. Stunning sign and I've never seen another like it. Condition is good overall with obvious paint loss and chips as seen in pictures (both sides of sign pictured). Because I believe this to be hand painted, the fact that the paint has survived as well as it has is impressive. Vintage Original Double Sided Metal Suffolk Sheep Sign
Double sided metal sign (not porcelain) advertising Suffolk Sheep breeds. This was a sign meant for dealers, in which the owner's name would have been applied to the bottom of the sign. The sign is not signed but is guaranteed original. Sign measures 28" (L) X 20" (W). Overall condition is good. I would rate the condition a "6" on a "10" scale. Side one has rust along the edge and scratches and rub marks throughout. Slight bending on edges and rust around two mounting holes on top. Staining on area where owner's name would go. Side two is very similar but with prominent scratches through "Suffolk Sheep". Bending and rust around mounting holes. Graphics and colors remain bright. Outstanding Old and Original Porcelain Frigidaire Dealer Marquee Sign
This is truly amazing porcelain single-sided Frigidaire porcelain dealer sign advertising "HUMKEY-ROGERS" as authorized dealer's for Frigidaire products, manufactured by General Motors. This is guaranteed old and authentic, and the colors and designs make this one of the most unique porcelain signs I've seen in a while. Notice the crown on top, the GM logos with spade designs. This is a very thick and slightly raised porcelain. They sure don't make them like this anymore. Likely this was the marquee on top of a display, store front and used for prominent and proud advertising.
